week 9 term 1 book review

technology 2019 term 1 week 4

Year 7 and 8 technology this  year me and friend are doing technology and i am doing sowing. Today we sowed paper to get stared soon we are going to be sowing fabric and making dresses and stuff like that for wearable arts in term 3 or 4.  I want to make a lite up dress or something like that. my teacher is Mrs Chapman and we are doing sowing for 4 weeks then moving on to something difrant.

This term we have been working on celebrating success. our teacher asked us to make a book page using six interview questions. This is my celebrating success

 This week on Tuesday we had the Top Team come to our school there was a bunch of different activities. My team had 10 people in it including me. I think that our team was the best at the water activities. My favourite activities was also the water ones.

This term we are reading a book called the Tale of Despereaux Miss Tisdall gave us a sentence from the book to carry on writing from. This is the sentence:

The beating of the drum let them know  that an important decision. would have been made one that affected the safety and well being of the entire mouse community.

This is what I wrote:

Despereaux could hear the drums lingering in the distance. Boom, bing, bang. He loved the sound of the music. He wanted to go and investigate where the music was coming from. He started to  scurrying through the creepy hallway in a zig-zag way.

He arrived at the king's throne room only to find the king playing the drums. When he saw the king he fainted of pure fight, face first onto the floor.

Then the princess found him and took him to her room and tried to help him. It did not work. Princess then took him to the king and said to get help. He said no and to get rid of that thing but she said no.

Why should you not drop rubbish well this is why! I made this to try encourage you to stop and pick up rubbish you see. If you see a sea creatures you know why because of the plastic and all of the rubbish.
