marae trip

Tuesday 14th 2018

On Tuesday Mamaku 3,Pohutakawa 3, Totora 3, and Rata 4 went to the Arahura Marae. When we first got to the Marae we had to stop at the gate and walk slowly because it is showing respect to the ancestors. Once we got to the wharenui we had to take our shoes off. Then Matua T did a long speech and we then sang a song followed by a hongi. Then we went to the other side of the building and got some food there was cake apples and mini pies. When we were finished eating we went back to do our mihis. I learnt that the wharenui is also know as the body of Tuhuru.

this is my literacy for this week the thing i did not like about this activity was it was a bit confusing and hard. the thing i did like about this activity was that i got it done very quickly.

weekly Reflections term 3 week 2

this is my free writing that i have done it was so existing to write it and read it. the thing i liked about this activedy   was that it was scary in the start but then got better. i think i need to work on is putting a bit more slides in to make it more existing.

this is my maths i  needed help from the teacher because  i did understand it because i could not read the numbers on the jug. i think i need to work on not asking for help so much the thing i liked about this that it was challenging and hard.
